unforgettable

The Todra valley stretches between the High Atlas in the north and the Djebel Saghro in the south, before disappearing into the Sahara desert. This arid, rocky land is dotted with verdant oases planted with almond, pomegranate, peach, olive and fig trees. After passing through the gorges, the Todra valley climbs back up to the peaks of the High Atlas through a succession of passages, each more beautiful than the last. If you have a 4X4 vehicle, you can climb a track to Tamtatouchte. From there, a beautiful 4X4 excursion will take you to the heart of the Dades Valley. Continue towards M'Semrir, passing through a mineral landscape to the Aguerd N'Zegzdoun pass (2600m). Follow the road down to the bottom of the Dades Gorge, through the Valley of the Apples, to Boumalne Dades. On the way you can meet the last nomadic shepherds and their herds of goats.
